Now please do not worry, I’m not going to start singing Christmas carols, wear a dodgy reindeer jumper or decorate my house with over dramatic obscene lights!! Well not yet anyway. I adore Christmas and I am one of those irritating people who love seeing all things Christmasy in the shops from September onwards. However this is just me letting you know that I am now in possession of my fabulous Christmas Pudding Invitations. Hooray!!

So keeping this Christmas blog brief I will try to explain.
Here it is, on the 10th November 8pm – 11.30pm at the Community Centre in Wootton Northampton, I am holding a Christmas pudding making evening. This is a ticketed event only! All are welcome and proceeds from the evening will go to Cynthia Spencer Hospice, a very well deserving local charity.
Christmas Pudding Invitations……………
You need to bring along with you a mixing bowl, wooden spoon or spatula and get ready to make your pudding with me. For the cost of £10.00 I will provide all the ingredients and the pudding bowl. You will leave with a delicious homemade Christmas pudding in a festive plastic red sealed bowl that will also be double sealed with parchment, foil and string, all ready to be steamed the following day. Then once steamed keep the pud at the back of the cupboard until Christmas is upon us!
This will be a brilliant evening full of Christmas charm, aromas and cheer. There will be Christmas stalls, from jams and jellies to cakes, jewellery and bags. Michael Buble will be singing on the Ipod, and the fully licensed bar will be open, classy!!
Even if you do not really favour a Crimbo pudding, come along and make one as a gift.  A beautiful homemade gift to share with friends and family. This will be a wonderful evening, hopefully anyway with a little help. Each ticket will be entered into a prize draw. See, Christmas is already beginning.
I have tested my pudding recipe about 4 times now and have been eating puddings since February, so I think I have finally got there and have come up with a wonderful recipe. Deep and fruity, light in colour and full of flavour. This will give your Christmas day something really special.
Just a little note, you are more than welcome to bring along any small charms or coins to put into your pudding to stir in to the mix, but please sterilise them first, or do what I do and clean my coins with fizzy coke.
Tickets are available from me only, please feel free to leave a comment. If anyone is able to donate a gift, please also comment below.
Well, I think that’s it for now. Any questions just ask please. Hope to see you on the 10th November. Some friendly faces would be great.
