Carmela’s Kitchen supper club

Please note: Carmela is trying to secure a new venue in which to host her monthly supper clubs. We currently have no dates available.

Carmela runs delicious supper clubs with evenings sponsored by Fillipo Berio extra virgin olive oil, held from the county of Northamptonshire.  Carmela cooks her authentic food with a passion and understanding of the cucina povera traditions from the south of Italy. A simple and delicious style of cooking whilst using seasonal produce of fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and game.

Aperitif  –  Welcome drink

Antipasti  –  Starter

Breaded artichoke hearts served with a classic ‘Italian Shop’ antipasti & rustic Pugliese bread  D,SD

Primo –  First course

Pear & gorgonzola risotto D, E, C

Vegetarian option: As above.

Secondo   –  Main

Chicken saltimbocca , served with oven – roasted stemmed broccoli, aged balsamic vinegar, pine-nuts and garlic potatoes  D, G, C, SD, E

Vegetarian option –  Chickpea and roasted vegetable tart with roasted stem broccoli, pine-nuts and garlic potatoes D, C,

Please pre-order the vegetarian option 3 days prior to the date of your supper club, for catering reasons otherwise this option will not be available. 

Dolce –  Dessert

Whole orange cake with whipped cream topped with clementine zest D, E, G

Coffee or tea to finish.

Digestivo ;  available as an additional cost upon request.

Carmela prepares all food from her family kitchen that has received a 5 star environmental health rating dated January 2022.
