Last Friday evening was the book launch for my newly published deliciously mouthwatering Italian cookery book ‘Southern Italian Family Cooking’. The venue for the launch was my local Italian deli, ‘The Italian Shop, where I work closely with Adriana Staniscia the owner. I teach at the shop most Friday evenings as well as running pop up restaurants here with Adriana, not forgetting that this is where I source many of my ingredients too. The perfect venue enabled me to provide my guest with a delicious book launch.

I made a variety of recipes form my book including my loved filled baby peppers and was provided the finest prosecco from ‘Nino Franco‘, which complimented the evening perfectly and in true Italian style. Over 30 guests attended and made the evening truly fabulous and a night to remember.

The support has been amazing and the book seems to have already made itself into many kitchen. I’m hoping for dog eared and food splattered pages. I’m overwhelmed with the attention and positive praise that ‘Southern Italian Family Cooking’ is receiving. I thank you all so much, one of my dreams has come true. Now to nail sales and start writing my second book..’Regional Pasta’.
