It’s incredible really how many treats you can produce with a sheet of puff pastry. I generally always have a block of puff in my fridge, that was a quick supper is only 15 minutes round the corner. However on this occasion I had a ready rolled sheet of puff pastry that needed using up. So instead of a savoury snack or pie, I went with a perfect dvd film treat.
So today it was going to be a sweet filling , a perfect treat for my children, I was now in the good books!!

4. Zest the orange all over the pastry.
5. Roll the pastry length ways. Just like a large sausage
6. But into 2 cm pieces and place onto a baking tray. Allow a little space as they will spread a puff up beautifully. Sprinkle over the sugar.
Cook for around 15 minutes, allow to cool and sprinkle with snow white icing sugar. These nutella palmiers are ideal for an Christmas party table.
