Our Clandestine Cake Club summer party. Lots of wonderful ladies and spectacular cakes. It was what you would call a ladies tea party, minus the tea. A beautiful warm evening, held in a local garden, very beautiful and picturesque. Lots of chatter over glasses of scrummy cloudy lemonade and freshly made cakes.
I will say this is our third meeting and by far the best. Each lady really did out do herself. What I love about this is that there is no competition. From rose, to elderflower and lemon, chocolate and beetroot to cherry and raspberry bakewell. One of my favourites without a doubt was Yvonne’s Strawberry and White chocolate cake….., a really stunning and tasty bake. I need that recipe Yvonne, please!! Better still make me one!!
I really look forward to our monthly meetings, now you can see why, no need to say anymore. Just enjoy the pictures.
