A wonderful food event set in the most beautiful grounds of Holdenby House in Northamptonshire. This year the stalls were as varied as always, with a wonderful variety of cured meats, spirits, spices, buffalo burgers, ice creams not to mention lots lots more.
From delicious buffalo burgers and buffalo milk ice cream to aromatic spices and delicious locally produced apple juice and cakes. I loved looking at my children as they dipped bread in oil and balsamic flavoured vinegar’s and sipped apple juice, tried jams, curries and more. They licked their lips and always wanted more. My children’s pallets are changing so much now, and I just love the fact that we have so many food flavours in common. I can now say that my children are curry monsters along with their mum!

Local traders and producers showcasing their fabulous and very indulgent foods. A wonderful day out for anyone, especially a foodie. I had a very enjoyable day out and yes spent a small fortune, but am enjoying my goodies, especially my salami and chorizo !!
Lots of food demonstration from skilled chefs and teachers along with falconry demonstration for the children. Mark from The Gourmet Spice Company was there along with Jonathan from The Village Orchard, (two of my favourite traders). I really do look forward to next year and the possibility of new food and drink stalls. Well done to Northampton for holding such a practically perfect day out!!
