Italian Pasta Making – Beginners Class
Carmela will start at the very beginning and teach you the art of simple pasta making. Learn to make pasta the Italian way from a simple fresh egg dough pasta dough and semola pasta dough (semola di grano rimacinata) to delicate strands of spaghetti, farfalle bows, gnocchetti sardi, garganelli, paccheri, cappelli, soprese and other hand rolled , unfilled shapes. Learn to make decorative freshly pressed (laminated) herb and flower pasta dough,. Pasta making is a hands on course. Simplicity at its best!
Bring along a container to take your freshly made pasta home.
Please note: Carmela is able to offer and teach gluten free beginners pasta. As above but using a formulated pasta dough. On booking please notify Carmela if gluten free will be required. Cross contamination is unavoidable in a group teaching situation.
Coffee & cantuccini will be offered as elevenses.
