For the last year I have been a member of the most fabulous Clandestine Cake Club, I am a member of the Northampton club and have been for almost 12 months, the group is run by the wonderful Gillian Tarry. Our cake loving group meets on average once a month along with an array or amazing cakes. Lots of chit chat, tea, coffee and cake. Each month a different venue and cakes from vegetable, chocolate, boozy, fruit and themed cakes.

I have made some wonderful friends and have tasted and lusted over so many very delicious and decedent cakes. More recently I have also become an organiser of the North Bedfordshire CCC group, I am now looking for more members to join my group. So if your local please feel free to join and come along.

The Clandestine Cake Club is founded and run by the very talented Lynn Hill. Throughout the country and now over seas there are clubs popping up everywhere. Lynn has achieved so much in such a short time and now is able to also boast her first most tempting baking cakey cookbook too.

The Clandestine Cake Club book is released on the 14th February 2013 and  has not only stunning photos but also superb recipes for all occasions that call for cake. With recipes from Northamptonshire, Leeds, Belfast, France, Finland and as far as the Caymen Islands and beyond.

The book contains 120 recipes. No tray bakes, muffins or tarts. Just simply cakes. Now I was lucky to have my two submitted recipes chosen and am one of the contributors to the book. Not only one but two recipes.
I can now say I’m published, its a great start for me, I am so pleased to have been given the chance to showcase two of my favourite Italian cake recipes in Lynn’s wonderful book.

A fabulous and very inspirational book. If you love cake then you will love and adore this new cake filled book. A great Valentines or mothers day gift.
