Children are back to school after Easter half term break and I feel like I have been running around like a headless chicken for two weeks, my feet haven’t yet touched the ground. Looking after four children is a full time job in it self but I have been teaching through the holidays too. I love teaching Italian cookery anyway, so for me its not really work, Its time out for to relax with a little Dean Martin on the wireless, flour in my hair, pasta dough down my dress and ragu on my face, I’m not kidding.

Saying that there is lots going on. I have been working with the most wonderful graphic designer Laura, who just grasped the concept totally about what I wanted  with regards to my branding, logo and advert. The only problem is my logo is gorgeous and thinner than I am, so I need to work on that and quickly too!!

Essentially I was looking for a logo that really sums up everything about me and what I do, yet that wasn’t necessarily patriotic, old fashioned or very plain. I really think this works. An Italian lady, with red hair, slightly voluptuous holding a large bowl of homemade fresh spaghetti! All of the Italian flag colours are incorporated within the logo and I think it is very retro, yet contemporary. I demonstrate, teach, write, and work on local radio. Oh forgot to say, obviously I eat allot too.

Buon appetitio.

Well here she is, what do you think?
